Mont Blanc Fountain Pens Hand crafted and hand tested by Mont Blanc’s Master craftsmen, you can hear perfection when writing with a Mont Blanc pen. Fountain pen collecting is a hobby enjoyed by people all over the world.Mont Blanc pens started their history earlier than you might think. Mont blanc’s products are thoroughly representative of German pens: conservative in style, heavily built, and expensive. Mont Blanc writing instruments are identified by the white, six-pointed start on top of their pens. Mont Blanc also offered stylographic style pens for technical writing during much of its history.

Best Fountain Pen
|
Review Date: September 18, 2007
Reviewer: Amila Ganegoda, Los Angeles, California, USA
If you want a very high quality and smooth writing pen then this is the pen you should buy. It looks so rich and elegant with the chrome and 23 kart gold design and writes so smoothly, it's hard to stop writing once you start! I'm a Computer Engineer and work most of the day in front of a computer, but I enjoy writing too, and with this pen you just can't get enough of it. This pen is great for professional use as well as for daily work, like signing receipts, taking notes etc. People always look at the pen when you take it out of your pocket to write. Overall this is as good as it gets!

This is the finest writing instrument bar none. I have been using fountain pens for years, I have had every brand imaginable, including Mont Blanc and Waterman, they do not compare to this pen. You will not regret purchasing this pen.

Cross Townsend Medalist Fountain Pen In Polished Chrome and 23 Karat Gold Plate with 23 Karat Gold Plated Nib - Medium
This pen is a wonderful writing instrument at this price. It is a good size to fit my hand, has a good weight and balance, and the ink flows well. You can buy a better pen, but will pay more than twice the price. I use it for many occasions from informal notes to those situations where the right kind of ink and expression is needed. I would recommend it if you need a hardy sized pen. The smaller Cross fountain pens are good as well if you like using smaller instrucments. |
My favorite companion

Review Date: July 15, 2006
Reviewer: Kenneth E. Larson, Arkansas
I have had two of these fountain pens for the past ten years. Wear and tear are minimal and are generally associated with the clip or the cap seal. When one loosens up I send it back to Cross for repairs and bring out the other. I get about 2.5 years of use before I need to call on the backup, but I don't want to be without my favorite pen. Although I spend a great deal of time at the keyboard, I find that my Townsend Medalist Fountain pen is great for journaling and drafting text, gathering thoughts in a flow. I am very happy with this affordable attractive tool and cannot imagine life without my favorite companion.
Very elegant

Nice pen to get. For the money you get a well weighted fountain pen. The medium nib flows well on commercial paper. It is on the heavy side as some people like their pen to have a good grip and weight to it. I would buy this pen again if i needed to
